SunPower Corporation is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to enhance and maintain sales software for the residential workstream.
The Full-Stack Engineer will report to SunPower Engineering SW Dev Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Responsible for the development of Sales applications to enable a world-class residential software suite.
Partner with the product management team and peers to define the application roadmap to ensure a scalable and effective residential application infrastructure.
Work with product owners to ensure that relevant information systems serve the business needs effectively.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
Ruby on Rails and React.js experience.
Experience with Ruby on Rails application building.
Understanding of object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance
Experience with HTML5, CSS
Experience with React.js
Positive can-do attitude with the ability to follow through.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
Proficient with RESTful API design and implementation
Proficient with code versioning systems (Git)
Experience with relational databases and datastores: Postgres, Redis
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Experience integrating with 3rd party systems (Eg: AWS S3, Salesforce, third-party APIs)
Experience with a Single Sign-On system
