Setareh Law Group is a class-action and complex litigation law firm and well-respected by our peers for the cutting edge work that we do and the successes that we have achieved over the years. We take on the world’s largest companies and zealously advocate for our clients. Our award-winning team have been recognized for their ground-breaking work on legal issues that have changed the law and resulted significant settlements. Our goal has always been to carefully grow our practice while at the same time being accessible to our clients throughout every case. Our commitment to our clients means that we are vigorous and zealous in the prosecution of each case which we believe, in the long run, achieves the maximum recovery for our clients.

Our recent victory before the California Supreme Court in Troester v. Starbucks Corporation (2018) 5 Cal. 5th 829 (departing from the federal law’s more employer-friendly version of the de minimus rule) was a significant victory for all workers in California. As a result of Troester, millions of hard-working Californians are now entitled to be paid for time spent working even if it is just a couple of minutes. Our firm was also lead counsel in Gilberg v. California Check Cashing, Inc., 913 F. 1169(2019), which expanded the Ninth-Circuit’s holding in Syed v. M-I, LLC, 853 F.3d 492 (2017), and held that any surplusage in a disclosure form prior to obtaining a background check violates the “sole and conspicuous” requirement under the Fair Credit Report Act.

We are looking to hire bright, hard-working, team-players to join our fast-growing firm.
