Position Overview:

The Logistics BI Analyst is a pivotal role in enhancing our logistics operations by leveraging data-driven insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of opportunities, process and model data, create reports and visualizations, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize our distribution, facilities network, route and delivery, fleet, and transportation processes. Your contributions will be critical to the strategic decision-making process and ultimately drive efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify and understand key business questions and objectives related to logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with the logistics data team to source data from various systems and ensure data accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
  • Identify and address data quality issues and participate in data cleansing and data enrichment activities.
  • Design and develop efficient and scalable data models to use in reports and analysis.
  • Design and develop clear and concise reports and visualizations to monitor and analyze performance metrics.
  • Develop presentations to effectively convey technical findings to stakeholders.
  • Convert and standardize existing Excel and other platform reports to Power BI.
  • Manage the Power BI workspace and production releases of reports and dashboard.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and data support to internal teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in logistics and business intelligence.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Data processing, modeling, and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in logistics and supply chain preferred.
  • Experience in product development lifecycle preferred.
  • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics is a plus.

Working Environment/Safety Requirements:

  • Remote work.
  • Some travel required.

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $70,000 to $95,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
