    Summary

    This vacancy is for a Survey Clerk position in the Los Angeles Regional Office located in Burbank, CA.

    Responsibilities

    The individual selected for this position will:

    • Coordinate a variety of tasks required in the collection, control, field review, and report statistical data obtained in a major survey or combination of surveys.
    • Provide technical assistance to field staff by using automated tools including locating addresses and/or respondent search through the internet or other search applications including mapping software.
    • Perform automated searches for case status, documentation for case outcomes, and following up with the field staff on missing or inadequate case information.
    • Establish working relationships with all levels of management, external parties, and stake holders.

    This is a Temporary Appointment, initial appointment is not to exceed 01/01/2021. This appointment may be extended years at management's discretion.

    The work schedule for this position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.

    Qualifications

    Specialized Experience:

    For the GG-05, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:

    Experience for this position includes maintaining survey materials, control files, computing ratios, and preparing computerized reports; experience using Google search or similar search engines, Mapquest or applications similar to YellowPages.com, Fast Data and Yahoo; experience using databases such as Access or Excel, conducting searches on specific data elements; experience reviewing case outcomes and determining if adequate information is provided or if additional follow up is needed; experience working and dealing with multiple customer demands in a professional environment.

    Four years above the high school level.
