Manager of CNC Programming is responsible for leading the
Los Angeles Site's CNC Programming process. The position will plan, organize, and direct all aspects of the CNC Programming processes and personnel.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):
30% - Provide leadership to the NC Programming team. Accountable for all aspects including but not limited to developing strategies and focusing on the execution to meet cost, quality, schedule and delivery requirements. Direct daily work assignments to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments. Approve timecards and managing labor charging to ensure regulatory compliance
25% - Overall position responsibility is serving as the interface between the program manufacturing engineers, machine shop personnel, and the NC programming organization.
25% - Provide coaching and mentoring for career development and advancement of team members. Manage day to day activities of the NC programming organization. Monitor performance to maximize utilization of resources and achieve job standards.
20% - Provide short and long-range planning for CNC Programming, including staffing and ensure consistency across the processes. Update work instructions to incorporate best practices and track and monitor continuous improvement projects.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or 10 years of progressive experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) in a manufacturing environment. Must have experience with CNC programming. Must have experience with initial implementation and/or continuous improvement of CNC CAM systems. Prior leadership experience expected. Experience programming with Siemens NX and Master-CAM is desired. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to organize and complete objectives, and tasks. Candidates must be capable of leading a diverse team and collaborating in a cross-functional organization to deliver results. The ability to adapt in a dynamically changing environment is also a necessary skill for this position
