Summary

Inventory Control Coordinators are key team members that work to help us ensure that all our production staff have all the supplies that they need to produce our flight critical products that are used to go straight on to an airplane!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Passionately works in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to help make CHI a safe work environment.
• Achieves team production goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming to verify against orders, and other records. Insure proper storage of materials in stock room and cold storage areas.
• Assembles wooden or cardboard containers. Package items for storage, verify documents and place all proper identifications on containers per CHI procedures and standard practices.
• Sign for incoming shipments of Freezer material only and give all documents and freezer recorders to a receiving clerk.
• Inform Receiving Manager if incoming shipment is damaged and have delivery service wait on dock until Receiving Manager advises to accept or reject.
• Data entry of Inventory Control Systems in Visibility MRP Software.
• Maintain the inventory of direct and indirect materials in production areas, report shortages as identified.
• Clean and maintain stores and Freezer areas, and Freezer receiving dock by the end of each business day.

Requirements:

• Ability to safely lift up to 35lbs. This position requires significant walking, bending and standing.
• Ability to bring your best self every day to safely meet and exceed production and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills using Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Shop Math: Understanding of basic math calculations.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluency of the English language (written and verbal).
• Able to work overtime on a daily basis if needed
• Able to work varying shift schedules for area coverage
• Forklift Certification a plus
• Job requires to be trained and able to handle hazardous waste.
