SafeRide Health is looking for a
Front-End Engineer who understands modern web frameworks and can contribute to a rapidly evolving platform to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of clean, maintainable, and high-performance code, with special emphasis on multi-tenancy, content management practices, and interaction with complex back-end systems.

Primary Responsibilities- Deliver new features and build new applications for the SafeRide platform
- Contribute to high code and usability using component-based architecture and style guidance (such as Material UI)
- Work directly with the engineering, product, and quality assurance teams in an agile environment to add real value for our internal and client solutions
- Innovate in a complex environment to bring real change to our industry while upholding security and regulatory requirements
Required Experience- Minimum three (3) years experience delivering secure, scalable web applications
- Minimum two (2) years experience with recent React features, including React Class Components, Hooks, and HOCs
- Minimum two (2) years experience with modern build tooling such as Webpack and Babel
- Experience managing code with containers, specifically Docker
- Familiarity with NodeJS
- Comfortable working on an agile, collaborative team using the usual suite of productivity tools (Jira, GitHub, Slack, GDrive, etc.)
Preferred Experience- Computer Science Degree
- React Native experience
- Experience with Cloud application management technologies (AWS S3, CloudFront, ECS/Kubernetes/ Swarm)
Skills- Advanced proficiency with React and Redux
- Advanced proficiency with HTML5 and CSS
- Proficiency consuming hierarchical and tabular data from REST-based APIs and WebSockets
- Familiarity with NodeJS
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to develop appropriate testing methodologies
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to contribute tactically and strategically
Job Requirements- Located and willing to commute to onsite location in either Los Angeles or San Antonio.
- Must be able to pass criminal background record check
