Overview:
Division: Kyocera Document Solutions Development America, Inc.
Location: Gardena, California
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Section Manager, Software Application R&D
This individual will
design and implement features and functions for Kyocera software applications interfacing with printers, digital copiers, and multi-function printers. Enhance existing messaging protocols that allow printers and software to communicate.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret software design instructions and implement application requirements in executable code.

Diagnose and fix reported issues in a timely manner.

Contribute to the software development process by actively and constructively participating in weekly sprint meetings.

Receive assignments in multiple projects as needed and adhere to each project’s methods and processes.

Use source control tools with proficiency and adhere to check-in/review processes.

Document the status of issues related to the maintenance process using bug-tracking software.

Should be able to communicate complex technical ideas to peers and managers.
- Provide training to new members on design, planning, and solving problems on Kyocera software applications
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree is required, and an advanced degree is preferred.
- 5 years minimum of software development experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.

Base pay range: 100-140K/annually. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications, area of expertise, experience and performance. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. Keep in mind, annual compensation is just one part of the total compensation package Kyocera provides.
