Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering or related
Experience: Two years working with computers/software
Job Description:

• Detail oriented and organized
• Proficient speaking/writing in English
• Understand various forms of testing and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Working experience in an agile team
• Knowledge of UI testing framework – hand coded (not just record/play back)
• Ability to author functional tests for reasonably complex software (not just websites) backend business logic
• Design manual and automated tests
• Design and execute performance and server load testing
• Excellent knowledge of Windows & Linux operating systems – installation, configuration, operations
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with application malfunction or misbehavior
• Demonstrate how to breakdown a complex scenario into smaller tests and troubleshoot
• Knowledge of at least one source control system such as GIT or TFS
• SQL Server knowledge – Server configuration, performance testing, scripting, backup, restore
• Black box and white box testing
• Experience working with Web applications authoring, load testing
• Proficiency (1-2 years):

o C#, Coded UI, ASP.NET, Python, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, PowerShell
o Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint

• Experience:

o Software development
o Python scripting
o Linux operating system
o Hyper-V virtual machines
o JSON, PHP, SOAP, WCF
o SQL Server, Hyper-V
o IIS (Internet Information Systems) configuration
o Social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube

• Preferred Knowledge: TCP/IP, SNMP
• Must be able to work effectively with engineering, QA, and support teams
• Create documentation and training materials as needed
• Train and provide guidance junior engineers and interns
