Opportunity Description

Well-established, well-capitalized provider of world class calibration services to major international manufacturers since 1997 seeks a highly capable Sr. Software Engineer to help lead our company’s ongoing digital transformation. Lead and work with other software engineers and low code developers to develop front end and backend software; develop and maintain code blocks and software architecture; assure agile development and optimized ALM and DevOps; and drive the growth and development of our low code no code program. Mostly Microsoft ecosystem including Power Platform, Dynamics, Azure, SQL, C#, .NET, etc. Drive successful and on time project completions. Identify and capture opportunities for delighting customers and improving internal quality and efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Experience building complex business systems with many interdependencies.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge and skill to develop software quickly without sacrificing quality, and to train others to do the same.
  • Leadership skills and business knowledge.
  • Ability to draw inferences and implications from results of research and analytics.
  • Experience designing and developing systems for a positive user experience including process, prompts, alerts, etc.
  • Experience designing and developing systems for enforcing internal efficiencies and simplicity for operations teams.
  • Driven to achieve closure in achieving business objectives.
  • Experience with and a working knowledge of best practice code development.
  • Experience with and a working knowledge of software architecture, including its short- and long-term impact on the organization’s business objectives.
  • Experience with and a working knowledge of optimizing software development process paradigms such as DevOps and ALM.
  • Experience with and a working knowledge of Microsoft cloud ecosystem - Azure, SQL Server/Database, Power Platform, Dynamics, Teams, C#, .NET, etc.
