The Project Marketing Manager plans, directs, and coordinates all tactical activities of client engagements to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, funding parameters, and scope. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience with lead generation, website development, branding and print marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, and overall production processes but with a background in delivering digital projects/campaigns.

GMG is a full service marketing agency and consulting firm working exclusively in the medical space - and almost exclusively in the aesthetic medical space (dermatology and plastic surgery). Our clients are high profile physicians and pharmaceutical companies who demand the absolute highest quality in every aspect of their marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with account teams to define project scopes and statements of work, clarifying requirements, explaining executable ideas clearly and managing expectations
  • Develop thorough creative briefs, production tasks, workable budgets and realistic timelines
  • Manage assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines
  • Lead and inspire creative teams by communicating the vision for the project as well as involving people at the optimal levels for project success and overall account utilization
  • Determine project risks on an ongoing basis, escalates issues as needed
  • Evaluate best team makeup for assigned projects
  • Set up necessary key touch-point meetings in the process including weekly status meetings
  • Follow through on task assignments and enter “to do” lists per detailed schedules (from creative development through delivery) and assist with communication about deliverables to creative team
  • Managing delivery of all project content needs per project from start to completion
  • Implement internal approval process on all creative layouts & copy (from creative development through production phases of each project)
  • Work with the Account team in managing daily client requests by prioritizing team workflow and delivery
  • Keep Account team aware of progress on each project and raise concerns as quickly as possible
  • Enforce Agency workflow process and quality assurance procedures to ensure successful execution as measured by agency goals and client satisfaction
  • Responsible for proofing process, brand guidelines, and quality standards on all projects
  • Identify problem areas to continue to improve efficiency and quality of the workflow process at GMG
  • Assist in finalizing appropriate estimated hours for various projects to ensure pricing during the sales stage is accurate
  • Directing debriefs after large projects are completed

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 4+ years of project management / traffic experience
  • Good understanding of production disciplines: print and digital through creative/branding, lead generation, website development, and content marketing.
  • Experience being the liaison between creative, technology, and account teams
  • Highly skilled in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to take the lead, pivot and pull out all stops to get projects completed on time and within budget

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
