Energy Datametrics (EDM) is a leading provider of energy efficiency SaaS solutions to electric utilities. Our software platform powers energy efficiency programs for utilities across the US and helping millions of homeowners become energy efficient, lower their energy bill, and reduce their environmental impact.

We are growing and looking for a Sr. Software Developer to play an integral role in designing and building our next generation software products. You should be passionate about delivering quality, commercial ready code with an engaging user experience. Excellence in .NET Core, C#, SQL with high-proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS is required.


  • Develop applications for scalable internet systems leveraging cloud providers like AWS
  • Develop REST APIs, Business Objects, databases, and integrations with external systems
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline
  • Develop, test and maintain complex SQL queries, scripts and stored procedures
  • Participate in requirements gathering and data analysis; translate complex business requirements into technical requirements and application architecture and design; and collaborate with UX Designer, Systems Engineer, QA for solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and partner with teammates on increasing efficiency of development processes and procedures, including release and build processes, code reviews, and peer programming.
  • Communicate with and lead offshore development team.
  • Document current and proposed systems; identify issues or areas of improvement; recommend solutions, patterns, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Monitor and maintain SLAs to meet needs and expectations for quality and performance
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend tools and frameworks which will improve software development efficiency and product quality


  • 5+ years Full Stack Development experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, API design, and databases
  • Solid Hands on experience with Service Oriented Architecture, Web services, APIs, A&A/SSO; Recent development and deployment experience on Amazon AWS
  • Languages: .NET Core, C#, React, JavaScript, Angular JS, jQuery,
  • Database: Relational, non-Relational, SQL, NoSQL, Mongo DB, Data Modeling
  • Experience with Amazon AWS, MS SQL Server, RDS, S3, ETL Services, Redis
  • Experience with continuous integration systems: Jenkins, Cruise Control or similar
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools: Docker, Chef, Ansible or similar
  • Experience maintaining several environments: e.g. development, QA, Staging
  • Experience in Waterfall/Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies & tools: JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience with GDPR, HIPAA, FERPA, and PCI compliance and secure coding
  • Experience in Mobile Development is a big plus
  • Knowledge or experience in AI/ML is plus
