Ecogate makes the best dust collection control system in the world, trusted on four continents by industry leaders including IKEA, GlaxoSmithKline, Tesla Motors, Andersen Windows, the US Navy and others, and we are looking for an exceptional software engineer to help develop the next generation of our products.

What You’ll Do

  • Be responsible for designing and implementing the software and firmware in Ecogate products, including:
  • Embedded systems
  • Linux-based software controllers
  • Web-based applications (front- and back-end) * Work with organization stakeholders to refine specifications and turn them into solutions
  • Maintain and build the company’s IT infrastructure
  • Perform other tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with C/C++, python, and javascript and web-based user interfaces
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with version control (git preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High initiative and self-motivation
  • The ability to executed flawlessly time after time
  • A high sense of urgency and experience operating effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring the skill to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Leadership – the ability to facilitate flawless execution through the entire team
  • A track record of success in similar roles
