A woman has been airlifted to a hospital after she was bitten by an alligator in Florida, according to the Brevard County Fire and Rescue service. Description

Position Summary: As a Digital Product Manager, you will oversee the development of new online educational products, from inception to launch. You will collaborate with content developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create innovative, customer-focused products to make teaching more effective and learning more fun.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Work with set of developers/analysts/architects as part of an Agile software development team taking responsibility for solving big challenges

  • Contribute to development and planning for new digital products and for existing products that can benefit from an enhanced digital offering

  • Contribute to the design of innovative, customer-centric user experiences in a team environment

  • Architect intuitive interaction and user-centered workflows that drive efficient engagement using responsive design principles

  • Conceptualize and map user-centered experiences (for students, teachers, and administrators) by considering market segment analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings

  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs, prototypes, and final designs

  • Identify problems, suggest solutions, and clearly communicate the details required to build the product as conceptualized, including writing user stories

  • Prioritize user stories for development and maintain a groomed backlog of work

  • Track and document digital product through all stages of development

  • Train and communicate with other departments on use of digital product

  • Assist in troubleshooting of problems identified by other departments and customers

  • Present work to the product management team and key stakeholders and executives for review and feedback

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and JIRA

  • Proficiency with CSS and html (knowledge of JavaScript and Node.JS a plus)

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of digital product management experience

  • Knowledgeable in best practices for web design, user experience, user interaction, and responsive design across mobile platforms, devices, and products

  • An understanding of the needs of teachers, administrators, and Pre-K-8 students

  • Knowledge of current educational tech trends and capabilities

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to independently drive projects to completion


Preferred Qualifications


  • Ability to develop concepts into elegant, customer-centric solutions

  • Contributor of solutions to interactive and user experience challenges

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
