Primary Purpose

The position provides leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of Facilities Integrity Management Program (FIMP) including large-scale, major strategic business and technology projects for program development. Effectively collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives and present solutions to business challenges. The main responsibilities include evaluation of existing procedures, business processes, integrity programs with internal SME, industry best practices and standards to scope and map the differences in order to develop new and/or enhance existing processes and procedures as applicable. In addition, this position is responsible for developing written integrity management plan for FIMP and responsible for budget and resource planning. Single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manages and coordinates all activities leading to the successful completion of large-scale, major strategic projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates and design.

Develops and maintain project parameters for project requirements.

Builds business cases and project justifications.

Directs, controls, and monitors team members, both internal and outside contractors, in the completion of their work.

Manages related workforce planning, budget analysis, and budget forecasts

Analyzes and determines regulatory impacts and requirements of the project.

Researches and evaluates available contractors and consultants.

Prepares, negotiates, and approves or recommend approval of contracts.

Negotiates contracts changes.

Testifies before and/or prepare supporting documentation for CPUC and other government agencies concerning cost estimates.

Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Education

Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Business or equivalent Required

Master's Degree An MBA or advanced degree Preferred

Experience

8+ years Integrity Management, project management or related experience Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Project management knowledge required.

Must be able to assess the potential financial impact of a project to the Company.

Must possess the ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions.

Must be able to build solid business cases/project justifications.

Communication and presentation skills required to communicate engineering, operational, and financial information.

Ability to understand broad engineering principals, analysis and recommendations.

Licenses and Certifications

Project management certification Preferred
