Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in software engineering.
  • 5 years of experience leading a team of 50 or more engineers.
  • Experience defining technical strategy.


Preferred qualifications:


  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience leading a team of 100 or more engineers.
  • Ability to set and drive “big picture” strategy while also having the capability to provide detailed technical and strategic guidance to the team, enabling them to execute more effectively and deliver products on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a history of building and managing a global team. Ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities


  • Be responsible for guiding the development of a diverse portfolio of products, features and technologies.
  • Partner closely with Product, UX and Global Business colleagues to deliver on our overall mission.
  • Provide technical vision and strategy for this space and design and lead multi-year technical roadmaps. Take full responsibility for planning, overall execution and success of complex technical projects.
  • Inspire teams to innovate, invent, implement and deploy software solutions and lead teams through project pivots and deprecations in a complex environment.
  • Develop and grow talent through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning and retention strategies for key talent in a highly competitive economic environment.
