Director Software Engineering

We are looking for a Director, Software Engineering to lead a team of engineers into the future and help implement new projects that makes our platforms the best in the business. This position is full-time with great pay and benefits in Century City Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:

Be a thought leader to collaborate with other engineering leaders to lead the development of our platform

Analyze and have a deep understanding of current technologies and business needs, and recommend solutions to solve complex requests

Lead the implementation of multiple projects providing mentorship and guidance to the teams

Collaborate with Leadership, Product Managers, Project Managers, Scrum Master and support team to build and

deliver exciting new products

Manage work flow and be responsible for timely delivery of projects

Optimize the quality of code delivery and champion best practices

Provide training opportunities and ensure the engineering excellence of the team

Requirements:

5+ years leading and managing software engineers

MS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Ability to set and drive the “big picture” strategy while also able to provide detailed technical guidance to the team, enabling them to execute more effectively and deliver products.

A passion for technology and technical depth to uncover root causes of complex technical problems and provide

guidance on solving them.

In depth knowledge of all phases of systems development lifecycle including trouble shooting and support

Demonstrated track record of technical innovation and leading a team of software engineers.
