We are expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our product.

As a Graphic Designer at Root, you will be responsible for creating compelling and user-friendly design solutions that align with our mission and enhance the overall user experience. You will collaborate closely with our client engineering, design, and infrastructure teams to ensure our product's visual elements are exceptional.

What you’ll do

• Create visually appealing and user-centric design assets for desktop, web and mobile clients.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive and responsive design system that aligns with best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design elements enhance the user experience and meet performance targets.
• Implement design solutions that are accessible and localized for multiple regions.
• Assist in crafting marketing and promotional materials, including graphics for our website, social media, and other channels.

Your background

UI/UX

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Familiarity with mobile app design, including responsive design and UI/UX best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of design principles for mobile app lifecycles.
• Proficiency in additional design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or XD.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of React or similar front-end technologies is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
