We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our software development team. As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Marshall Reddick website. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining microservices within a monorepo. The role is very collaborative with daily interaction with our Software Engineering team, CEO, and our real estate, property management, and private lending teams. To be successful in this role, the developer must have a positive attitude, always open to learn new technologies and have strong communication skills and strong documentation of code.

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand and define requirements and develop new features and functionality for the Marshall Reddick website and its associated microservices.
• Participate in bi-weekly sprints and work closely with the software development team.
• Write automated tests and perform manual testing as necessary to ensure high-quality code.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to enhance the website's design, layout, and usability.
• Maintain and improve the website's performance, scalability, and security.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of code.
• Develop and maintain microservices within a monorepo.
• Troubleshoot and debug website and microservices issues.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern web development tools and technologies.
• Implement and maintain code repositories, automated build and deployment pipelines, and other development infrastructure tools using GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the website's codebase and architecture.
• Continuously research and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve website and microservices development.

• 5+ years of experience in a full-time, full stack developer role.
• Solid experience with React, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related web technologies.
• Strong proficiency with writing testable code with unit and integration tests.
• Strong understanding of database design with experience using MongoDB.
• Familiarity with AWS and relevant services such as S3, EC2, CloudFormation, RDS.
• Should have a solid working knowledge of Linux command line, git, Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, PHP Storm, and other development tools.
