Remote position, primarily involved in the design and coding of applications in radiation oncology for efficiencies, workflow improvement, and data analysis. Works closely with physicists that will also be involved in the product management of these applications.Duties/Responsibilities
Application Design (70%)
Entity Framework and SQL database design in .NET
ASP.net Core and jQuery for web applications
WPF and C# applications for Eclipse Scripting API (ESAPI), which will be used by physicists
User interface design for data entry and analysis
Deployment and testing of applications
Application Maintenance (30%)
Deploy and test data driven solution on the oncology space
Routine cadence of new use cases from staff
Upgrade and provide bug fixes for existing applicationQualifications
B.S. in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 2 years in a software development role. Experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but not required
Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
