Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Staff Engineer to join our Accounts team. Our customers authenticate, manage and connect to other accounts through our Accounts platform. You will be helping to design and manage the technical underpinnings of this platform and how this platform integrates with other teams. While this is a staff level position, you will also be expected to do the actual building and support of this product. The tech stack is primarily Ruby, Node, and VueJS.

Responsibilities and Duties

• You’ll build end to end user experiences for our Accounts platform, from writing the backend API to building out the front-end using our in-house component library.
• Manage and design systems that keep the Account data synced with other data systems within ActiveProspect. This two-way data flow includes our own internal applications and external services such as Netsuite, Auth0, Snowflake and others.
• Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design.
• Communicate clearly with product owners and peers on both technical and non-technical subjects.
• Recognize and evaluate issues and risks within the application codebase and be able to present potential solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience with Vue + TypeScript, or equivalent experience
• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Located somewhere between Pacific Time Zone (UTC -8) and Eastern Time Zone (UTC -5)
• You are a thoughtful team player that values good communication and transparency

• Experience with using MongoDB and AWS
• Experience working in a DevOps environment using automated builds, testing and deployment
• Being an advocate for Typescript
