Job Description
As the Senior Engineer in Software Engineering, you will be a member of our Connectivity team and be responsible for the development of the products used to support the BD Infusion pump family. You will play a vital role in the development and modernization of software for maintaining the infusion pump workflows, calibration tasks and manufacturing activities.
Responsibilities of this role:
Design and develop high-quality, clean- scalable and reusable code. Applying software engineering and architecture best practices
Work in a scrum-based agile development process which plans, and builds features targeted to a release.
Help in timely execution and delivery of product design verification and integration for compliance with applicable safety, security, and quality standards and procedures.
Work with managers, Team leads, POs, PMO to improve practices.
Contribute to a team culture that values quality, robustness, and scalability while fostering innovation.
To be successful in this role, you require:
Hands-on development experience in C# .Net and SQL Server.
Experience working and troubleshooting with WinForms.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
Knowledge of modern web development and cloud technologies. (Azure preferred).
Experience in working on microservices and API based systems.
Understanding of Azure pipelines.
Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) is desired.
Understanding of CI/CD pipeline for software delivery.
Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, other requirements, and test management tools.
Ability to find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code with the help of automation tools.
Good to Have:
Knowledge on testing backend services
Experience working with Kafka
Education and experience required:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an engineering field.
5+ years of experience in various elements of full-stack software development.
