McGuff Family of Companies is looking for a Graphic Designer / Web Designer to join the team here in Santa Ana, CA! You’ll have the opportunity to make recommendations and decisions that will affect the design and direction of our products, marketing materials, communications and web sites. You’ll also be comfortable providing subject matter expertise, input and contribute as a valued team member. You’ll need to be self-motivated and able to operate independently when needed. You’ll have the opportunity and need to learn new design techniques and technology platforms. We value creative thinkers

Essential Functions and Duties shall include:

• This role will guide the direction of design for all companies under the McGuff Family of Companies brand.

• Front end design and programing are required

• Maintain brand standards and specifications on all printed and online material while working to evolve the look and feel of the McGuff brand.

• Design from conception through completion on flyers, banners, signage, packaging and web pages

• Review and adjust art assets for all creative projects to maintain a high standards of aesthetic quality.

• Ability to think and design outside of the box. Creating and designing multiple options for key leaders decide on your designs.

• Deliver designs that can cross the mediums of online, print and video (i.e. web site landing pages, social media, infographics, brochures, business cards, flyers).

• Collaborate with user experience designers to turn wireframes and concepts into compelling, beautifully-crafted experiences

• Understand business requirements and technical constraints to work within project parameters

• Effectively communicate verbally with internal corporate team to help determine the direction of future creative projects.

Personal and Professional Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a graphic designer

• Must have graduated high school or obtained G.E.D. equivalent

• Must have expertise with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code (HTML,CSS, JavaScript) preferred.

• Must have the ability to design and code the front end of a website

• Must be an expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) and the full Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

• Must have photo retouching/photography experience

• Must have common knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software

• Understanding of typography, layout and color in both print and digital formats

• Strong interpersonal and professional skills and willing to work as a collaborative member of a team; takes direction from several sources at once

• Ability to accept feedback and constructive criticism

• Constantly learns and stays up-to-date on design trends and technology

• Self starter and creative thinker

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
