Our Quality Assurance Engineering team is responsible for creating test procedures, test software, test fixtures, quality measurement and data capture to support product development and mass production initiatives.
We are looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer, someone who is comfortable gathering details from both documentation and team members to derive test procedures and a testing plan for both product development and production support. In addition, the engineer will be responsible for developing testing solutions by developing test software, fixtures, and processes. These tasks will typically be at the direction and under the supervision of a senior team member.
The ideal candidate will possess creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. This candidate must have excellent inter-personal and communication skills to relay technical expertise to multiple departments including to non-technical persons.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be required to perform their duties as part of a highly creative interdisciplinary team that is often pushing the boundaries of the industry by providing creative and unique solutions to challenging problems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update Test Procedure documents which outline the test cases and expected results for each product/item code to which you are assigned

  • Work alongside Product Development team and brainstorm with Project Leads to develop test case items to ensure proper test coverage

  • Collaborate with QA and Product Development team members to develop software and hardware testing tools which will be used to execute Test Procedures

  • Set up and execute Test Procedures as assigned in a timely manner to support product development initiatives

  • Gather and communicate results with pass/fail details in a concise report to the appropriate audience

  • Conduct full regression functional test for minor and major product updates for ECN’s which are assigned to you

  • Regularly verify, calibrate, and report on status of production testing fixtures

  • Regularly provide a report consisting of production testing data with pass/fail details to management

  • Make suggestions for improving Test Procedures as well as overall departmental processes Educational/Experience

. Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science

  • 0-2 years of direct working experience

  • Familiarity with Black Box and White Box Testing

  • Understanding of Basic Test Engineering concepts

  • Understanding of Basic Electronic concepts

  • Understanding of Basic Software Process concepts

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with Bluetooth, WIFI and USB Software Protocols and technologies

  • Familiarity with connecting hardware test Medias such as Serial Ports, GPIB, USB, WIFI and SPI

  • Understanding of technical terms and writing

  • Familiarity with Software development languages such as C#, Java, C, Python

  • Familiarity with Software development environments such as Eclipse, Java Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio

  • Familiarity with Version Management Tools such as GitHub and Team Foundation

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook

Working Hours
8:00AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday (with flexible hours at the main office), with one hour lunch
