Job Overview:
We are looking for an Advanced II Software Engineer to join our team and help us build a mobile test framework for our digital health software and device software. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of front-end web development, back-end development, mobile development and test automation, with experience working with a variety of languages and technologies.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop a cross-platform software simulator for our SCS/DBS stimulators.
Design and develop a mobile emulator for our SCS/DBS stimulators.
Design and develop a web portal to manage simulator, emulator and test cases.
Investigate and analyze test failures and production bugs.
Automate stimulator test cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather pain points and requirements for the framework, and ensure the framework meets their needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in mobile test automation using frameworks.
Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices and protocols.
At least 3 years of experience in software research and development.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong understanding of back-end technologies, including one or more back-end programming languages (such as Python, Ruby, or Java) and one or more web frameworks (such as Django, Ruby on Rails, or Spring).
Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Neuromodulation medical device related working experience is a big plus.
*** This is a Hybrid role, located in the Valencia, CA area and will require 3 days a week in the office***
The anticipated annualized base pay range this full-time position working at this location will be from $69,000 to $131,000 plus variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements) and the value of core and optional employee benefits being offered at Boston Scientific (BSC), which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. BSC considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.
