  • Provides a “WOW” experience to our Guests by bringing our awesome menu to life!
  • Prepares fresh, delicious and healthful meals by preparing all food items to order, and following standard recipes and procedures
  • Operates cooking stations: falafel preparation, kabob preparation rotisserie preparation, wrap/plate preparation areas, and others
  • Stocks/restocks items
  • Rinses and cuts raw food products
  • Receives and stores food supplies and equipment
  • Keeps cook line and prep areas in a clean, sanitary and safe manner
  • Cleans, organizes, and maintains walk-in refrigerator, reach-in refrigerator, cooler drawers, prep, and dry storage area


  • Has a strong Team Member attitude and can work well with others from diverse backgrounds to reach goals of restaurant
  • Strong communication skills, can express comments/concerns in a positive manner
  • Communicates with Team Members and Management throughout the shift regarding status of orders and availability of product


  • Understands and follows all food safety and temperature standards
  • Helps maintain a safe environment for all Guests and Team Members by following all Zankou Chicken’s Safety procedures

  • Food Handler Certificate (obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Positive attitude. Willingness to adapt to a changing and growing environment
  • Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor during any volume of business
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Order Accuracy (reading receipts properly)
  • Basic math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Multi-tasking, organization and time-management skills
  • Some exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures and humidity
  • Reaches, bends, squats and frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment/tools
  • Mobility required during the entire shift

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
