We’re looking for a motivated Product Manager and Marketer to support high-impact products for Government clients. We operate in an integrated environment - our developers work closely with product management and user experience designers to build modern software solutions using lean startup and agile methodologies. Product management and leadership teams work closely with stakeholders, users, and customer research teams to get feedback on function and outcomes. This role will manage tasks and initiatives throughout the entire product development lifecycle for digital products and solutions, and will work independently with some guidance.
You'll manage and lead the full on-boarding process for complex permitting locations on the Recreation.gov platform, including leading initial discovery and requirements gathering sessions, create documentation for developers and design teams, formulate a detailed testing strategy, and oversee launch and launch protocols. You'll recommend the nature and scope of new features, enhancements, and services by generating user-insights, assessing market demand, reviewing and comparing existing product capabilities, analyzing current and emerging user and business needs, and evaluating technical feasibility and alignment to mission goals. You will work closely with user experience and engineering teams to discover new needs and features that have potential to reduce cost, improve functionality, increase efficiency, increase user success, or otherwise improve the organization's results. You'll develop artifacts that represent the product function and vision, including roadmap, user journeys, and personas and support product development for user stories, test plans, development tickets, and sprint plans.
